Estoy en Sicilia, Italia, en la tierra de mi abuelo trabajando con fotografía, con la idea de traerme algo del paisaje siendo parte del mismo, interesada en el proceso, en la fotografía como acción, más que en el resultado de la producción.
Me gusta trabajar en el contexto natural, con lo aleatorio del momento, con la libertad de crear con lo disponible, la adaptación a las condiciones y las limitaciones, como el viento. La Cianotipia, técnica fundacional, no utiliza cámara, es de contacto; me permite ser parte, me amalgamo en el paisaje. Encuentro el paisaje en las piedras, en el mar, la arena, trabajo con la luz solar, intervengo con los elementos del lugar, para generar mi propio paisaje.

I'm in Sicily, Italy, in my grandfather's homeland, working with photography. My aim is to appropriate the landscape by becoming part of it, focusing on the process, on photography as an action, rather than the final product.

Cyanotype, a contact printing technique, doesn't use a camera; it allows me to become part of the landscape, to merge with it.
I find the landscape in the stones, the sea, the sand. I work with sunlight, intervening with the elements of the place to create my own landscape.
