The leaves of the azarero tree from my garden pressed by direct contact onto cotton paper — beetroot, river blackberries, carrot leaves as pigment. Its fragrance, like the pigment, cannot be fixed. The technique does not cancel ephemerality, it negotiates it: the organic image carries within itself the time that will undo it.
